The Supplemental Journal of Abher Norfind

Description:
Bio:

Found in an ancient tomb in the Greenlands, this scroll appears to be written in an ancient dialect of draconic and sports a moderate enchantment aura. The aura may relate in part to the item’s ability to make its text readable to someone who holds it (though making other languages unreadable at the same time).

The text seems to continue where the circulated “Journal of Abher Norfind” leaves off, but is extremely difficult to comprehend. The writing is filled with nonsensical metaphors and word substitutions that leave the reader somewhat baffled as to the intended meaning of the text. There are some references to travelling (at the magnetic south pole) to a different realm of some sort, where unfamiliar people were encountered, and some of the final portions of the text seem to allude to a ritual.
